Pray Also For Me, Ephesians 6:18-20, Dr. Jonathan P. Seda, Senior Pastor
It is a well established fact that more Christians were martyred in the last century than in all previous centuries combined. And the persecution, torture & murder of Christians continues in our day. New chapters are being written in God's "Book of Martyrs" and new images of brutal suffering & painful death are being etched into the consciousness of the church. In this sermon, given on the International Day Of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, the question is asked, "If you could speak to a sister or brother in Christ being persecuted for their faith in Jesus, what would you say to them?" More importantly, the question is asked, "What would Jesus say?" This sermon shows how the words of Jesus cut across the grain of popular American Christian Culture and how the request for prayer, given by the persecuted Apostle Paul in his closing words to the Christians in Ephesus, should guide our prayers for the persecuted Christians of our day.
