How Does A Growing Church Stay Small?

How can a growing church continue to maintain meaningful relationships and a sense of true Christian community?

The question is filled with riddles and opportunities ...
We all want the advantages of being in a large church.
  • a grand worship service
  • specialized ministries  (youth, singles, music, etc.)
  • a high quality Christian education ministry
  • more resources for outreach and missions
But we also want the advantages of being in a small church where
  • we see the same faces regularly
  • we learn and discuss God's Word for our lives
  • we feel accepted, comfortable, and loved
  • we are significantly involved in serving Christ
THE GOOD NEWS IS that there is a way to have both: Small Groups!

Small groups are a small "church" within the larger church!
Groups vary in size from about 8-20 and meet for Bible study, fellowship, prayer and ministry.
Some churches call them "house churches" or "home study groups," or "home Bible studies."
Whatever they are called, small groups are a great way to develop deeper friendships within the church.

So, don’t stay on the fringes. To know others and to be known, for friendship, encouragement, prayer, camaraderie, spiritual growth and more, try a small group! Check the schedule and locations below to see what would work best for you and just give the group leader a call for directions!
